Jonathan spent 10 years as the founder of ELC Technologies (acquired in 2010 by PriceGrabber’s Kamran Pourzanjani). While at ELC Technologies, Jonathan founded three Ruby on Rails product businesses: RightScale.com, RightSignature.com and RightCart.com. RightScale is a leading cloud computing management platform. RightSignature is a profitable SaaS business serving marquee clients such as Farmer's Insurance, Second Market Equities and the American Bar Association. RightCart.com was founded as a copy and paste shopping cart platform that outperformed CPM and CPC units for monetizing product-related content sites. RightCart.com was acquired by Buy.com in 2007. Jonathan has been active in technology start-ups, services and angel investing for 12 years and is part of the venture development team at Accel Partners.
Jonathan speaks frequently on the startup culture and cloud computing. He has been on Amazon’s Web Services customer advisory board since 2008. In 1998, Jonathan graduated with degrees in Physics and Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Roger is currently a Board observer of newBrandAnalytics, SeeWhy?, Krush and a Board Member of the Flow. Formerly, he served on the boards of Aprimo Software (sold to Teradata), Intraspect Software (sold to Vignette) and was a Board observer at Interactions Software, Acquia, Blue Agave, Tervala Software and CiRBA.
Prior to forming Cloud Capital Partners, Roger was a Venture Partner for over five years at Sigma Partners focusing on the enterprise software, IT, and business services industries. During that time he sourced and made investments in eight investments which also included DocuSign, vLingo, WordStream, Virtera in addition to providing broad portfolio support in the areas of strategy, new customer acquisition and financing.
Before Sigma, Roger was a partner with JEGI Capital, focusing on the intersection of technology with the media, marketing and information industries. He has also served as a Managing Director in Veronis Suhler Stevenson's Business & Professional Information Group and directed the private equity fund's investing efforts in the healthcare information market (Solucient), in addition to its efforts in venture investing. Roger has held senior executive positions in corporate development, marketing, and product management at WebLine Communications (acquired by Cisco Systems), Stream International (acquired by Solectron), the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, where he founded D&B Services; D&B Small Business Solutions, and opened business credit joint venture operations across Eastern Europe. He began his career at IBM. Roger is a frequent speaker and a writer on venture capital industry.
Roger earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in International Relations and Economics from Tufts University.
Roger is also an active angel investor.
Bryan Beal is currently the Cloud Business Development Director at Juniper Networks, where he is responsible for driving thought leadership in the areas of Data Center and Cloud Computing and helping companies define and execute on their cloud strategies. Bryan also leads research on new cloud computing startups and innovative products.
Prior to Juniper, Bryan was the Senior Director of Global Alliances at Savvis, a leading Cloud Computing provider, and collectively has over 15 years of experience in the Cloud Computing, Enterprise Software and Network Infrastructure industries. Past employers include Microsoft, AT&T and Riverbed Technology.
Bryan holds two patents on cloud computing technologies, is a member of MENSA and serves as Adjunct Professor of Business and MIS at Ashland University. He has an MBA with an emphasis in Economics and Supply Chain Management from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland.
Jared Kopf enjoys starting and building companies. Jared has over 10 years of experience leading and growing early stage consumer technology businesses. A passionate entrepreneur and champion for small businesses, Jared previously co-founded HomeRun, and AdRoll which were built to help small businesses grow profitably via online channels. Early on, he was an early member of the PayPal team, prior to its acquisition by eBay.
He has been named one of the "Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30" by BusinessWeek magazine (2007).
Lance is an active angel investor in many technology companies with a focus on Internet, social media and green tech. He was involved in the first launch of Ohio TechAngels Fund, which has become the largest angel fund in the Mid West. He holds degrees in International Relations and Economics from The Ohio State University and received his Senior Consultant from The Wharton School of Business.
Lance White is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager with UBS Financial Services, Inc. in New Albany Ohio. He has been in the financial services industry for 15 years and prior to UBS was a Senior Vice President and Wealth Advisor with Morgan Stanley. His team at UBS manages wealth for many families across the country.
